About Helen

Helen Starkweather’s background in massage, intuitive guidance and energy work has contributed to an enriching pathway to Shamanic practice, teaching and healing.  Her work in the Healing Arts has evolved over 35 years with beginnings in deep tissue massage therapy laying the groundwork for working in Chiropractic offices and as a Medical Intuitive. After eighteen years working in massage, including the study of Qi Gong energy work and Reiki, she began using her intuitive guidance as a counselor and guide. 

1994 was a year for pivotal beginnings for Helen. She began her studies with Angeles Arrien in her three-year Four Fold Way Program as well as took Michael Harner’s Shamanic Journey workshop. She became a mentor for the Four Fold Way program for three years and has been the Mentor Program Director since 2001. Her Shamanism practice lead her to complete a two-year teacher-training program with Sandra Ingerman and on to teaching others.

Helen practices energy healing work, Shamanism, and works as a teacher, energy guide, life coach and intuitive counselor out of Sebastopol, California.
